Anna joined the Energy and Technology Policy Group (EPG) in February 2014 as a PhD candidate. In 2019, Anna moved to Amsterdam to work for the external pageInternational Institute for Sustainable Development as an energy policy consultant. During her PhD, Anna performed research with both the Energy and Technology Policy Group and the Climate Policy Group at ETH Zürich. Her research interests lie in the techno-economic and political aspects of energy systems transitions with a focus on renewable energy investment. She is particularly interested in how to bridge the financing gap in renewable energy projects, especially with respect to attaining renewable electricity targets. 

Anna earned her MSc in external pageSustainable Energy Futures at external pageImperial College London, alongside the external pageGrantham Institute for Climate Change with her thesis on investment decision-making in renewable and energy efficiency projects in UK energy intensive industry. She also holds bachelor degrees in Chemical Engineering and Mathematics from the external pageUniversity of Queensland. Prior to entering energy research she worked for 9 years as a Process Engineer, Project Manager and Risk Consultant in the mining, energy and oil & gas sectors in various countries including Australia, Indonesia, South Korea and the USA.
